Australian National Police Checks (ANPC) Update

To ensure the data stored in MyPass is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act (1988) and the Commonwealth Spent Convictions Scheme, we are updating the functionality that handles Australian National Police Check certificates. This move protects the employer from accessing information that may fall under the Spent Convictions Scheme. It also protects employees from disclosing criminal history information that is protected under the Spent Convictions Scheme.

This change means that personnel can no longer upload an Australian National Police Check certificate.

Effective 4 April 2023, Australian National Police Check certificates must be booked and completed directly in MyPass. This service is delivered via an integration with National Crime Check and Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) Accredited Agency. Booking fees apply.
