Create an Asset

An asset is a business unit that is a core source of works to be completed. It is typically a site or location.

The projects are grouped by assets and each project is attached to an asset. The assets have an associated matrix or matrices which is fed through to the project.

1. Open MyPass, scroll down, and click Settings.

2. Click Assets.

3. Click the + button to start creating an asset.

4. Input the Asset Name.

5. Input the Asset Code.

6. Click Save.

7. Hover to the newly created asset.

8. Click the ellipsis icon.

9. Click Assign Skills Matrices to make the requirements in the selected skills matrix or matrices visible in the project role.

10. Click checkbox of the appropriate Skills Matrix or matrices to assign to the asset and will be fed through to the project roles.

11. Click Save.

12. That's it. You've now created an asset.
