What is a MyPass Work Passport?

It’s your passport to working in the industry. Your MyPass work passport is your secure online hub where you can store and manage all your work-related documentation. Your MyPass work passport contains:

  • Contact details
  • Job classification(s)
  • CV / Resume
  • Proof of ID
  • Qualifications / Certificates, Tickets, Licenses, Inductions
  • Employment history
  • References

What does MyPass cost?

MyPass is completely free for workers. Employers pay to use the platform.

Is my data secure?

We take the security of your personal data very seriously. All data is stored in local and respected data centres, and strict password protocols are in place for all users. We take all reasonable precautions to keep any personal information that we hold about you secure and to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration. Do I need a CV or Resume to set up a MyPass Work Passport?

Yes, you do need a CV, simply because employers these days expect this as part of an application for a role, either permanent or contract. You don’t have to do it right away, but you will need it to have a complete work passport.

Is my personal information kept secret?

Your information is kept private and employers can only access your profile and training when you give them permission. Site owners/operators can access your profile if your employer deploys you to that site.  Training institutions also have access to your profile for the purpose of adding training directly to your worker passport.

How do I find out about jobs?

To find new roles you can you can register with an employer if they have created an Expression of Interest (EOI) pool. This means you can register your details and be part of a wider pool of workers who may be considered for upcoming projects, contracts or permanent roles.

How do I apply for jobs?

Companies may send you an email inviting you to apply for a job – in this case, you should ‘View Job’ to check out whether it’s suitable for you and then ‘Apply’ if you’d like to proceed. It’s that simple.

I've forgotten my password, what do I do?

If you’ve forgotten your password, you’ll see an option when you go to Sign in to click on Forgot Password?

How do I change my password?

First, log in to your MyPass Skills Passport account, then click go to Settings or Change Password page. You can also click on the Forgot Password? link on the Login page.

Can I change my username or email address within MyPass?

No, but it can be changed through MyPass support. Please email your request to support@mypassglobal.com.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?

We’ll be sad to see you go and we don’t want you to miss out on being connected to your employer(s) and to industry Job Invites. However, if you decide you don’t want emails anymore, go to Settings and you can untick the Receive Expiry Notifications and tick Snooze Job Offers to stop receiving notification emails.
