Ways to Message the Personnel

1. The first step is to open MyPass and click Personnel.

There are multiple ways to use the Personnel Messaging functionality.

2. To send an individual message, click the send icon beside the Personnel.

3. Click Email or SMS for the new message method.

4. Enter Message in the field provided.

Personnel will receive a copy of your message in their emails and their Skills Passport when selecting Email. They will also receive the message in their Skills Passport and mobile when selecting SMS.

5. Click Send.

6. Another way to send a message to Personnel is to click their name such as Alicia Munro and open the Personnel profile.

7. Click Message in the more actions section.

8. Enter message in the chatbox.

9. Click the clip icon to attach a document (optional).

10. Click Upload / Scan then select the document from your computer.

11. Click the smiley icon to add an emoji to the message (optional).

12. Click the desired emoji from the list such as👍 thumbsup.

13. Click send icon or the enter key in your keyboard to send the message.

14. The message preview will appear in the chatbox.

Personnel can read your message in their Skills Passport and emails.

15. Click X to close the chatbox.

16. To send bulk messages, click the checkboxes of the Personnel and recipients.

17. After selecting Personnel, click the Message button.

18. Click Email or SMS for the new bulk message method.

19. Enter Message in the field provided.

Personnel will receive a copy of your message in their emails and their Skills Passport when selecting the Email. They will also receive the message in their Skills Passport and mobile when selecting the SMS.

20. Click Send.

21. NOTE: The Personnel messaging is not available for those with awaiting personnel acceptance status or the triangle icon.

This means that the Personnel is new to MyPass and needs to accept the invitation for the messaging to be enabled.

22. NOTE: The Personnel messaging is also not available for those with lock icon.

The lock icon besides the Personnel means that they have an existing account in MyPass but have not yet accepted the invitation to join the company's Resource Pool.

23. The sent and received messages are accessible in the messages page. Click Messages.

24. Click the dropdown to filter the message by Resource Pools.

25. Click a Resource Pool or select All My Personnel to see all of the messages across the different Resource Pools.

26. Click Unread to see the list of unread messages only from the Personnel.

27. Click Received to see unread and read messages from the Personnel.

28. Click Sent to see all the sent messages from the company portal administrators to the Personnel.

29. Click All to see the unread, received, and sent messages to and from the Personnel.

30. Click the dropdown to sort the messages to oldest first or newest first.

31. Click the Personnel, Adriane Jones, to open message.

32. The chatbox contains the message history of the selected Personnel.

The white chat bubbles are the messages from the Personnel and the blue chat bubbles are the messages from the indicated portal administrator.

33. Click and enter message in the field provided, then click the send icon or the enter key in your keyboard.

34. Click X to close the chatbox.

35. That's it. You've now sent a message to Personnel and read Personnel's messages!
